Sam manages the Strategic Wealth Group, a family-office style investment group inside of Merrill Lynch Wealth Management that focuses on helping a limited number of successful families and businesses.

Prior to joining the Naples office Sam worked as an investment banker and was responsible for all aspects of merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions. Prior to investment banking Sam worked in private equity at the launch of a single-family office after a major liquidity event. He began his career in finance as a contractual underwriter on commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) transactions while obtaining my MBA in finance.

Sam is blessed with a wonderful family which includes his wife Claudia, a clinical pharmacist, and children Gabrielle, Sam Jr., and Michael. He has a B.S. in Neuroscience and an MBA in Finance from the University of Miami and resides in his hometown of Naples. Sam is actively involved in the community. He sits on the advisory Council for Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, is past president of the Finance Executives Roundtable in Naples, and founder of the Cedar Club of Naples. He enjoys playing pickleball, paddleboarding, and basketball.
